2003 Volkswagen Eurovan Camper
San Francisco, CA
Hello, my name is Kennedy and I am so glad you are interested in my Vanimal. It has been an absolute blast driving it around. So many great memories that I will never forget. In 2018 I took a sabbatical for the entire year. I spend a lot of time in this Camper where I had the opportunity to travel across the United States multiple times. Toward the end I found myself spending most of my time on the West Coast. So if you need a recommendation I willing to help out. The previous owner kept immaculate records of all the maintenance completed. Since I took it on, I have put about $12,000 into preventative maintenance. I have taken great care of this van, and I am excited to let you experience it in all of its glory.
Minimum Nights: 3
🚐 This is the “Camper” version of the Eurovan outfitted by Winnebago. It features the same basic "Westfalia" layout as other classic VW Vanagon and Microbus-chassis campers, but with a few more modern touches similar to a Class B motorhome. It sleeps four people, onboard propane, furnace-heater, running water, and frigid air conditioning.
🎥 Watch the "Eurovan Camper Instructional" video from the dealer to get a better sense of what the Eurovan has to offer.
🛏 Pop-top tent on top with a three-sided bug screen and a comfortable full sized bed that will sleep two. The rear bench seat transforms instantly into a full-sized bed that will also sleep two.
🚰 It has the kitchenette that includes a sink, two burner stove, a table, storage, counter space, and a small refrigerator.
🍽 Cups, bowls, plates, and utensils, pots, pans, skillet, openers, kettle, french press coffee maker, trash can, salt & pepper, and more.
👕 Rear closet with hanger space and shelving.
🔋Auxiliary battery to power lights, fridge, and other small items. Automatically charged anytime the van runs, or is plugged into shore power.
🕵️Complete privacy curtains for all windows.
💺 Both front seats are super comfortable captain’s chairs with adjustable armrests. They rotate 180º to turn the van's interior into a room.
🔊Stereo with top of the line Kicker component speaker system in the front as well as the rear.
💡Rear airplane-style reading lights.
🚀 The engine has been well maintained, automatic transmission that was replaced at 200k. It also has cruise control.
✈️ Pickup is 35 minutes from SFO.
🐕 This is a family van. Dogs are allowed, but no smoking tobacco, no parties, and no festivals.
🤝 I am willing to negotiate mileage fees for longer trips. Let's have a conversation if this a concern of yours.
🎖For fellow veterans, I will give you 10% off. Before you confirm your booking I will give you a discount code.
I offer a few add-ons through Outdoorsy. As I use this van for my own personal enjoyment and I know what works and what doesn't, I am letting you use some of my items for free and others for a small fee. These packages include pretty much everything you might need to have a great adventure. What camping items should you bring that I don't include? Great question, please read "what should you bring".
➡ One-Way are allowed. You will pay a minimum one-way fee of $300. Once you book, I will start looking for a renter to do the return trip. If I can find a renter to bring the van home, the one-way fee will remain at $300. If we can’t find another renter to do the return trip, your total one-way fee will increase as follows:
San Francisco - Los Angeles: $450
San Francisco - Portland: $700
San Francisco - Seattle: $850
You must book at least 5 nights, and you must book more than 30 days in advance. I'll check in with you around 30 days out. At that time, if I have been unable to find a return renter, you have the choice to pay the additional balance due on your one-way trip (the fees above less the $300 you would have already paid), or cancel your trip for a refund less a 5% service fee.
EZ-Pass for Toll Roads
Pay at the end of the trip if you cross the Golden Gate Bridge South-Bound, just pay what was used.
Cleaning Fee - $75
You are going camping so we're expecting the van will need to be cleaned before its next rental. We will clean the Exterior and Interior for you if you don't feel like it.
Pet Fee - $125
This vehicle is pet-friendly.
No Smoking in Vehicle
Please no smoking in the van, subject to $2,500 fine.

I am pretty easy going, so if you have any questions please feel free to ask.
